However, managing e-mail is a major time suck, so please read the following before hitting send. We do want to help others wherever we can but time trawling emails means less time making new discoveries and gathering information to share!
Before sending me an email, please read below:
- Please keep all emails to two paragraphs or less.
- If you wondering where you should start on planning your trip or feeling lost, I suggest you continue reading and gathering information from the broader travel community to gather your ideas. It is unlikely that any one website will give you all the answers you are looking for. However the best place to begin using this website is on the home page
- If you are looking for general destination information, Tragic Travels has some recommendations on what to see and do based on where we have been. However you really need to make this decision for yourself and the broader online travel community will likely have much more specific detail.
Unfortunately emails that ask “what should I do in [x]?” will not be responded to. - I’m not a travel agency and emails asking me to book your trip will be deleted.
- If you are e-mailing me about visa questions for your preferred destination, please contact an embassy or consulate as their information will be up to date and accurate. I can’t comment on individual situations and will not respond to your email.
- Planning an itinerary is a very personal process. Tragic Travels advice is to always seek new horizons, discover new adventures and if possible avoid travel tragedies! Only you can answer where to go next and what you want to see and do. Itinerary feedback will also go unresponded.
- Tragic Travels doesn’t do sponsored posts, text links, or other advertising. All such enquiries will be deleted.
- Please don’t send me review copies of your book.
- If you work in PR, please don’t send us press releases or put us on your mailing list. Thank you for acting with professionalism and respecting ours.
